Purpose:  To support the Residential Home Manager, staff and all the children and young people in the Home.   Main Responsibilities and Duties:   The role of the Deputy Homes Manager is to support the Registered Homes Manager in the day to day running of the Home and carrying out tasks as directed by the Registered Homes Manager, deputising for them during their absence.  In addition   Work with the Registered Homes Manager and members of the team in effectively engaging with the wider system and professionals (social workers, parents/carers, teachers, health professionals etc) involved with all the children living in the home to ensure the best outcomes are achieved   Provide a caring and homely environment and encourage children to make choices in what exists in their home environment   Ensure the team maintains the safety and welfare of children both in the home and the community    Promote adherence to all safeguarding legislation, policies...
